Open since 2001, Dive-Time is the Algarve's longest established 5 star IDC centre. Situated on the fishing port of the historic seaside town of Lagos in Southern Portugal, we offer the full range of PADI courses; from Discover Scuba Diver right the way through to PADI IDC Staff Instructor.

We are affiliated with PADI - The Professional Association of Diving Instructors, the largest diving organisation in the world, which guarantees safety and satisfaction with all diving courses offered.

Dive Time offer the best in Wreck Diving, Technical diving, and Deep diving that Portugal has to offer, we also have learn to dive packages and well as try diving options. We also offer Nitrox diving, and night diving courses and experiences.

We offer daily diving and snorkelling trips along the stunning Algarve Coast for divers of all experience levels.

As an IDC centre, we are able to offer courses from complete beginner to IDC Staff instructor, as well as technical diving through the DSAT system; also to instructor level.

Dive-Time is an Aqualung partner centre, so our dive school is stocked with well maintained and up to date Aqualung dive equipment; perfect for learner and even more divers. Aqualung inspects its partner centres annually so you can be safe in the knowledge that the gear you are using is well looked after.

We have two on-site classrooms where we conduct all of our dive theory work and our own private training pool to create the perfect environment to learn to dive.

Our two dive boats supplied by Cheetah Marine are the best in town and provide a spacious and comfortable platform from which to dive. They handle the local sea conditions perfectly even in wind and waves to offer you the best and safest possible ride to your dives; especially preventing spray from splashing back at the passengers which is a usual problem with the RIB style dive boat.

We do all of the heavy lifting for you; so don’t expect to be hauling tanks to and from the boat. We leave from the Lagos Marina, which is right next to our shop. Ample parking is available right outside the dive centre so we can provide an easy and stress free service for you.

Once back at the dive centre after your dives; feel free to use our changing room showers. We can even provide a towel if you forget yours.
